Prechter includes key essays from Bob Prechter, Pete Kendall and media writers who were on the scene in 1997-2000, when it mattered. It includes a timing forecast for the ferocious bear market ahead. Just as important, the book spells out the mistakes along the way, and what you can learn to help avoid those errors in the future.

This book is one of the very rare opportunities in life to learn from a pivotal time in history. by Investment strategies
http://moneymasteryforum.com/view-from-the-top.html

Investment strategies on large-cap funds

2006 WAS SUPPOSED to be the year large-cap funds flexed their muscles and regained their long-lost market leadership. Looks like nobody told the little guys.

In the first quarter, the average small-cap equity fund gained 12.22%, while the average large-cap equity fund gained 3.70%, according to data from investment-research firm Lipper.

The yawning gap is reflective of the separation that has existed between the two broad size categories over the last five years, ending March 31. During that stretch, small caps are up 11.62% annualized, compared with 2.52% for large caps.
